  1. Hi,

What is the special feature of ROR over other programming languages like C, C++, Java etc.

Is it a web-based scrpting language like Perl or PHP?

And are you a member of ILUGC?

And will you be kind enough to help me in installing and running Linux ( I like Ubuntu) on my PC as a duel boot?

    Thanks

  2. Ruby on Rails is a web framework that is based on Ruby. Using the framework, we can create web enabled apps in very short time.
    Here’s from the official website

Rails is a full-stack framework for developing database-backed web applications according to the Model-View-Control pattern. From the Ajax in the view, to the request and response in the controller, to the domain model wrapping the database, Rails gives you a pure-Ruby development environment. To go live, all you need to add is a database and a web server.
